One idea from NLP. Every day. In an email.
NLP of the Day teaches neuro-linguistic programming one concept at a time — each with a practical exercise that takes two to five minutes. Twelve months, sequenced from foundations to advanced work. No jargon before examples, and no promises that any of it will transform your life.
How it works
01
Subscribe
Enter your email and confirm. You start at day one whenever you join — the sequence runs on your clock, not a calendar.
02
Read
One email a day: a single concept, explained in plain language in about a minute of reading. No jargon before examples.
03
Practise
Each email ends with an exercise that takes two to five minutes. Keep what works, bin what doesn't.
A year of NLP, in order
The days build on each other, but every email stands on its own — missing one breaks nothing. Every seventh day is a practice day: nothing new, just a longer exercise that pulls the week together.
Months 1–3
Foundations
The map and the territory, rapport, and how your senses build the world you respond to.
Months 4–6
Core techniques
Anchoring, submodalities, and the Meta Model — the tools most people mean when they say NLP.
Months 7–9
Language and change
The Milton Model, reframing, and modelling: how language shapes state and behaviour.
Months 10–12
Advanced integration
Timelines, beliefs, and parts work, bringing the year's techniques together.
What a day looks like
This is the opening of day one, exactly as subscribers receive it. Every day has the same shape: one concept, then one short exercise.
NLP stands for neuro-linguistic programming. Three words, and each one is doing a proper job.
Neuro: everything you experience comes in through your senses and nervous system. You don't get reality. You get your processing of it.
Linguistic: you then wrap that experience in language, and the words you pick change how the thing feels. "I failed" and "that didn't work" describe the same afternoon.
Programming: run a pattern often enough and it becomes automatic. Habits of thought and reaction execute like programmes. The useful bit: programmes can be rewritten.
Today's exercise · ~3 minutes
Pick something you're good at but have never once thought about. Making decent toast. Reverse parking. Now ask yourself: how do I actually do that? What happens first? Give it two minutes and write the steps down.
Questions people ask
Do I need any background in NLP?
No. The sequence starts with foundations and builds from there. Curiosity is the only entry requirement.
Isn't the evidence for NLP contested?
It is, and the emails say so. Techniques are presented as things to try, anecdotes stay anecdotes, and you judge your own results. Nothing is promised.
Is this therapy?
No. This is self-development, not therapy, and it isn't a substitute for professional support when that's what's needed.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing breaks. Each email stands on its own, and the sequence simply carries on where you left off.
How long does each day take?
About a minute of reading, then an exercise of two to five minutes.
Is it free?
Yes. One email a day, free, and you can unsubscribe with one click at any time.
