The short version
We collect your email address so we can send you the newsletter you asked for. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone beyond the services needed to deliver the emails. Unsubscribe at any time and we stop.
Who we are
NLP of the Day is a daily email newsletter teaching neuro-linguistic programming. For anything privacy-related, contact hello@nlpoftheday.com.
What we collect
- Email address — provided by you when you subscribe. This is the only personal data we ask for.
- Subscription activity — our email provider records when you confirmed your subscription and standard engagement data (whether emails were delivered, opened, or clicked). This helps us see what's working and remove addresses that no longer exist.
We use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link, so an address can't be subscribed by someone else.
How we use it
- To send the daily newsletter you subscribed to.
- To send occasional service messages about the newsletter itself (for example, a change to how it's delivered).
- To understand, in aggregate, how the newsletter is read.
The legal basis for this under UK data protection law is consent, which you give when you confirm your subscription and can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
Who processes it
- Kit (kit.com) — our email service provider, which stores the subscriber list and sends the emails. Kit is based in the United States; transfers are covered by its standard data protection commitments. See Kit's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and provides standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) used for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. Emails include the standard delivery and open tracking built into Kit.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays on the list while you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, Kit marks your address as unsubscribed so we don't email you again. You can ask us to delete it entirely — see your rights below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop processing it — unsubscribing does this for email.

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll note it here and, where the change matters, mention it in the newsletter.
